There will be plenty of learning around material and tool choice, technique, shape and form…. before we get into the exciting area of embellishment! Join us for an introduction to coloured pigments and leather adornment. Emma will guide us through the application process, to create unique and eye-catching new elements for your woodturning projects. Techniques and focus areas will include: - Tips for turning deeper bowls and overcoming the problems they can cause.
- Discussing shape and form.
- Step-by-step explanation for working with a new style of colouring using coloured pigments.
- Adding leather cord as an embellishment.
The ‘Live Sessions Panel’ share their tips on woodturning for beginners. At half time we are joined by Ethan Moore from Ontario, Canada who will share some surprising facts about dust extraction. | | | | | | | | | | |
