I found a really good calculator for doing wood segmenting that gives you lots of options for calculating size of rings, number of segments, angles, etc for designing your own segmented piece.

The calculator is pretty easy to use and offers the ability to save your work in a printable PDF.
The calculator also does all the calculations for creating turned vessels using staves, like the birdhouse staves used in Doug's cedar birdhouse plans.
