The Atlantic Shore Woodturners is a group of people from Monmouth and Ocean counties, in New Jersey, who share a common love for woodturning. And we'd love to share that passion with you!

Come visit us at one of our meetings, and meet our distinguished members and guest speakers.

At each meeting, we conduct normal business sessions (where we discuss club participation in such events as school demos, AAW competitions and woodworking shows and expositions). Afterwards, there is an informal show & tell. Each of our members are encouraged to show off samples of their work, and discuss any special techniques used and/or experiences gained while producing them. Participants are entered into a drawing for valuable gift certificates from various suppliers in the woodturning craft.

After show & tell, we often have guest speakers or demonstrations. This may include club members, who focus on specific aspects of woodturning, or outside invited guests. Quite often, the demonstrations allow for hands-on lathe time, where members get the chance to practice the techniques just demonstrated.

MEETINGS INFO:

Our club meets on the second Tuesday of each month (except July and August), at the Holy Family Parish Center (the white building at the corner of East County Line Road (Rt. 526) and Ridge Ave.), in Lakewood, NJ. [MAP]

The meetings start with a social half-hour at 7:00 PM. The business portion of the meetings start promptly at 7:30 PM, so be sure to arrive on time!
